Beef or pork lasagne, made with home made pasta
A traditional Italian dish dish, with layers consisting of our own home made pasta, ground tenderloin of beef or pork, onions carrots and tomatoes, infused with a rich red wine and beef stock sauce. Cheddar bechamel line each layer of meat sauce, with a mozzarella and parmasan topping, for that cheesy crust packed full of flavour.

This dish can be eaten as a stand alone meal but is best served with a simple accompaniment of garlic bread, although some people like it with chips or just a side salad.


Cooking Instructions

Oven Baked
For best results, defrost slowly in refrigerator prior to cooking, pre heat oven to 190C/375F and then bake for 20-25 minutes. (or when golden brown and crispy on top)

From frozen, pre heat oven to 190C/375F and bake for 35-45 minutes (large variance depending on quality of oven).

Warning; DO NOT microwave, tin foil container is non microwaveable.

If no oven available, microwave is possible if you remove lasagna from tin foil container, this can be done with a gentle and quick heating of the tin in boiled water, for approximatly 15 seconds, after which the lasagna will part easily. Place lasagna on plate and proceed to microwave on medium power for 6-8 minutes. (Best results not obtained in this fashion as lasagna will appear flat, with juices escaping, and on your plate rather than inside the lasagna.)
